Womens Night

Would you like to learn how to maintain and repair your bicycle with confidence? Fix punctures with ease? Tune gears and adjust brakes so everything runs smoothly and safely?
Come and join us on Wednesdays at Back2Bikes Womens Night!
It’s a chance to learn about a new aspect of your bike each evening and pretty soon you’ll have the skills to keep your bike in pro-team condition by learning about maintenance, problem diagnosis and repair.

We start each workshop with a demonstration and some theory, then everyone gets their hands dirty on their own bike putting the new knowledge to use. We’ll support you if you have questions.
We are an inclusive and social bunch and we always stop for a tea break around the midpoint.
We usually head to the pub for a drink afterwards and welcome anyone who wants to join.

In 2021 we are offering a six part series on how to keep your bike in peak condition covering chains, gears, brakes, tubes, tyres, cables and bearings.
Runs on Wednesdays, roughly once a month.
By the end of the series, you’ll be confident in repairing and maintaining your bike ensuring it’s always enjoyable and safe to ride.
You’ll be supported to get hands on with your bike by our course leaders and regular course members. We have up to 12 attendees each night, but not all shown on Meetup list. Meetup always shows as FULL, but join the Waitlist and there are often places.

  • We provide a fully equipped workshop, helpful volunteers who love bikes, a tea room and bathroom facilities
