Coronavirus update

By now everybody is fully aware of Coronavirus and its possible ramifications for us all, so I won’t go into detail on that.

Back2bikes will remain open as long as is practical and allowed. The workshop is airy, and our workstand configuration means that the 1.5 metre interpersonal distance can be maintained.

Customers can no longer enter the workshop, we are implementing minimum touch strategies, like paying for services online. We are doing wipe downs on a regular basis to ensure cleanliness.

We believe that keeping bikes running is an essential service. Using your bike instead of your car or public transport will make you healthier and keep you away from possible infection. Bikes will play a big part as a safe transport option while we are dealing with the pandemic.

We do ask that if you are unwell with possible Coronavirus symptoms, that you do not attend, either as a volunteer or customer.

Some of our volunteers are in an at-risk category, and have chosen not to attend for the moment to reduce their chance of infection.

Evening workshops

Our evening workshops have been suspended for now, we hope to be able to start them again soon.
